The 50|50 Show was a juried exhibit at the Sanchez Art Center in Pacifica, CA (2022) featuring artists who created 50 small works over the course of 50 days.

The theme of my work was “Full Circle: Exploring Patterns and Finding Connections.” The circle often represents wholeness, connection, and equanimity. Patterns are comforting when things seem unclear or disordered. Using the circle as a container for patterns felt right for this project and these times.

The ceramic medallions and domes are made of porcelain, brown and white stoneware, and earthenware; they are painted with glaze and/or underglaze and some are sewn with thread. The works on paper include ceramic medallions, thread, and watercolor or gouache on paper mounted to board. All works are 6” x 6” or less, with the exception of Day 50, which is approx. 8” x 6.75”.

This photo gallery includes a small selection of the 50 pieces. Check the shop for available artworks.
