This series of wall sculptures centers around the theme of “metta,” a Pali word translated as goodwill or loving-kindness. In several Buddhist practices, metta is offered toward oneself and others. Each sculpture has a metta phrase as its title.

The wall sculptures are made of stoneware clay and hand-painted glaze. Each one has a ledge on the back with a built-in hanging notch to fit securely on a cleat, screw, or hook.
